What we collect
When you contact us. The inquiry form asks for your name, email and phone, and anything you write in the message, plus the vehicle you asked about.
When you schedule a visit. We collect your name and mobile number, an optional email and note, the visit you chose (test drive, lot visit or trade-in appraisal), the vehicle, and the day and time.
Saved cars and your cart. These stay in your browser’s local storage on your device. You can remove them with their controls or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
How the site is used. We use Google Analytics and our own website analytics to understand which pages and vehicles people view and which buttons they use (for example, calling, starting a credit application, or scheduling a visit). This uses cookies and similar technology and records information like your browser, device, approximate location and the pages you visit. It does not include what you type into the credit application.
Credit applications
The credit application in the “Get approved” window is The Key Konnect’s application, hosted and processed by our credit-application provider, ACCreditApp. It loads directly from their secure server inside that window. What you enter there, including your Social Security number, date of birth, ID, address and income, goes to the provider and to us. This website cannot see, read or store it. We only learn that an application was opened or finished, and from which vehicle page.
The application’s own acknowledgements explain how we and the finance sources we work with use your information, including credit reports. If you apply from a vehicle page, the “Copy car details” button only copies that vehicle’s description to your device’s clipboard.
How we use your information
To answer your questions, schedule and confirm visits, help you find and finance a vehicle, follow up on your inquiry, and improve this website. We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages
If you tick the text box when you schedule a visit, we text you your appointment confirmation and reminders. The box says: “Text me my appointment confirmation and reminders from The Key Konnect. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.” Ticking it is optional and is not a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. Mobile numbers and texting consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
Who we share it with
Service providers who run this website and our customer tools for us, only to provide those services: FullExperience (website and customer management), Vercel (hosting), Twilio (text messages), email delivery providers, Google (analytics), Mapbox (maps) and, when you apply, ACCreditApp and the lenders you apply to. We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it to work with you as a customer and to meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by calling 254-987-0063. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
